Yes, it does. But if your chlorine level drops for even a few hours (like after a heavy rain or a hot party), algae spores will bloom instantly.

Primary Uses

Directions for Use

Important: Always add chemicals to water, not water to chemicals.

1. Initial Dose (Clean Pool):

If you are just filling the pool or opening for the season:

• Add 80 ml per 10,000 Liters of water.

2. Weekly Maintenance:

To keep the water clear:

• Add 30 ml per 10,000 Liters of water every 7 days.

3. Treating Visible Algae (Green Water):

If your pool is already green, you need a "1-2 Punch."

1. Punch 1 (Shock): Super-chlorinate the pool first to kill the bacteria.
2. Wait: Wait at least 24 hours for the chlorine levels to drop slightly. (Adding Algaecide to extremely high chlorine can reduce its effectiveness).
3. Punch 2 (Algaecide): Add 120 ml of Algicide Supreme per 10,000 Liters to finish off the survivors.

Safety & Handling

• Potent Formula: This product is toxic to aquatic organisms (fish). Do not discharge pool water directly into lakes, streams, or ponds.
• Pouring: Add directly to the pool water around the edges to ensure good distribution.

Algicide Supreme 50% inhibits the growth and/or proliferation of algae in pools and spasDirections:

• For pool with no visible algae add 80ml of Algicide Supreme 50% per 10,000L of water.
• For weekly maintenance add 30ml of Algicide Supreme 50% per 10,000L of water.
• For pool with visible algae, super chlorination is recommended, following instructions of super chlorination product. Then wait at least 24 hours before adding weekly dosage of Algicide Supreme 50%.
• For pool with visible algae when no super chlorination is employed, add 120ml of Algicide Supreme 50% per 10,000L of water.
