Chlor-Aid is "stabilized," meaning it contains a UV inhibitor that protects the chlorine from being broken down by sunlight. This makes it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor hot tubs.

Usage Guide

• Routine Maintenance For daily sanitization, add 10-20g (approx. 1 tablespoon) per 1,000 liters of water. Maintain a Free Chlorine residual of 3.0 to 5.0 ppm as determined by your test kit.
• Shock Treatment After heavy use or if water appears cloudy, super-chlorinate by adding 3-4 times the standard dose. Allow the water to circulate with the cover off until chlorine levels drop back to the safe range (3-5 ppm).
• Compatibility Note While safe for most modern spa surfaces (Acrylic, Fiberglass, Vinyl), chlorine is a strong oxidizer.

 Note: If you own a natural wood (cedar) hot tub, we generally recommend using Bromine or discussing compatibility with your manufacturer, as high concentrations of chlorine can affect wood fibers over time.
