Both the stove body of the Water Heater and the firebox are made with high quality AISI 430 grade stainless steel. The heater can be left outside without the danger of rusting or burning-out. A specially designed vented smoke outlet provides secondary combustion of unburned gases, thereby reducing smoke emissions and chimney sparks. The heater comes with a 10' of stainless steel stove pipe.

The Wood Water Heater utilizes a sophisticated heat exchange design for efficient water heating. The stainless steel stove body surrounding the firebox is a double-walled water-jacket with a 1.5-inch space between, making the entire firebox (except the front) a heat-transferring surface. Additional heat transfer takes place in a water-filled baffle tubes that runs horizontally through the firebox. The baffle deflects the path of the fire, so it gives up more heat into the water jacket before going up the chimney.

Heat is easily controlled by adjusting the air draft control for heating the water and maintaining the water temperature.

How it Works: The "Double-Wall" Advantage

Unlike a simple campfire coil, the Inferno uses a sophisticated Double-Walled Water Jacket.

• Total Surface Contact: The entire firebox is surrounded by water. As the fire burns, it heats the inner steel wall, transferring energy directly into the water jacket.

• Baffle Tube Technology: To squeeze every ounce of heat from the wood, water-filled "Baffle Tubes" run horizontally through the top of the firebox. These tubes force the flames to travel around them, increasing surface area and capturing heat that would otherwise be lost up the chimney.

Forced Circulation Edition (Pool Ready)

This model comes pre-equipped for Forced Circulation.

• Why this matters: Standard wood tubs rely on "Thermosiphon" (slow, gravity-fed flow). This "Forced Circulation" unit connects directly to your existing Pool or Spa Pump.

• The Benefit: Your pump pushes water through the heater at high velocity, stripping heat away from the firebox much faster. This results in rapid heat-up times and allows you to place the heater far away from the tub (unlike gravity systems which must be right next to it).

Safety & Installation

• Freeze Protection: If you live in a freezing climate, you MUST drain the heater when not in use via the included drain plug. Water expanding into ice will split the stainless steel jacket.
