Handling standard Muriatic Acid is terrifying. The fumes burn your nose, and the liquid is incredibly dangerous to store. Ultra Acid offers the power of a strong acid with significantly improved safety.
This formulation acts as a "Low-Fume" alternative to traditional Muriatic Acid. It is chemically designed to perform the same heavy-duty tasks—lowering pH/Alkalinity and cleaning masonry—but with less volatility and safer handling characteristics.

Primary Uses

1. Lowering pH & Total Alkalinity (Pools & Spas)

If your water is highly Alkaline (High pH), your chlorine stops working and scale builds up on your equipment.

• The Benefit: Ultra Acid lowers these levels quickly and efficiently. It is ideal for larger vessels (like Swim Spas or Pools) where dissolving huge amounts of granular dry acid is a hassle.

2. Cleaning Concrete & Stone

• The Benefit: Ultra Acid is an excellent cleaner for etching and brightening concrete, removing efflorescence (white salt deposits), and cleaning tough stains off masonry surfaces.

Usage & Safety Guide

For Water Chemistry:

• Test First: Always test your pH and Alkalinity before adding.
• Dilute: Never pour straight acid into the water. Pre-dilute the required amount in a plastic bucket of water, then pour that mixture around the perimeter of the pool or spa.
• Wood Tub Warning: For small Cedar Hot Tubs, we generally recommend using our Granular pH Reducer (Sodium Bisulfate) instead. Liquid acid is very potent and easier to overdose in small volumes of water. Use Ultra Acid primarily for Pools, Swim Spas, or larger Acrylic Spas.

For Cleaning Concrete:

• Dilution: Mix 1 part Ultra Acid with 3 parts water.
• Apply: Scrub the concrete surface.
• Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water immediately after cleaning.
