The "Overnight Reset" for Crystal Clear Water

Rinsing your filter with a garden hose removes visible debris like hair and leaves, but it does nothing for the invisible clogging agents: Body Oils, Lotions, and Calcium Scale.

Northern Lights Cartridge Cleaner (1L) is a professional-grade degreaser and descaler designed to penetrate deep into the pleats of your filter paper. It breaks down the sticky "bio-film" that water alone cannot touch, restoring your filter to near-new performance.

Why Rinsing Isn't Enough

• Dissolves Oils: Sunscreen, deodorant, and sweat coat the filter fibers, causing water to bypass the filtration system. This cleaner strips those oils away.

• Removes Scale: It chemically dissolves calcium and mineral deposits that harden the filter paper and reduce flow (often causing "Low Flow" heater errors).

• Extends Life: Regular deep cleaning prevents the fibers from becoming brittle, meaning you have to buy expensive replacement filters less often.

Safe for All Systems

• Low Foam Formula: Unlike household detergents which should never be used on spa filters, this formula is designed to rinse away cleanly without causing a "foam party" when you turn the jets back on.

• Wood Tub Approved: Safe for use with filters in Cedar Hot Tubs, Acrylic Spas, and Swim Spas.

Directions for Use (The "Soak" Method)

For best results, perform a "Deep Clean" every month.

1. Mix: Pour 500ml (half the bottle) into a plastic pail filled with 2.5 Gallons (approx. 10L) of warm water.

2. Submerge: Remove your dirty filter and place it in the bucket. Ensure it is fully submerged (you may need to flip it halfway through if the bucket is shallow).

3. Wait: Let it soak for 12 Hours (Overnight). This gives the chemical time to eat away the grease and scale.

4. Rinse: Remove the filter and rinse thoroughly with a high-pressure garden hose until no suds remain.

5. Dry: Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling (this tightens the fibers back up).
