PN 58118 is the common heater tube assembly used with Balboa's international (50Hz) M7 spa packs (GS & GL). Can also be used with North American Spa Packs (VS & EL). This unit comes complete with sensors. Heater tube is Stainless Steel and is 2" dia x 15" long. Heater 800 Incoloy element produces 3.0 kW at 240 V and 0.75 kW at 120V. 2" slip tail pieces, gaskets and split ring nuts are supplied. Comes with 1 year warranty. Expert Installation Tips

To ensure a leak-free and successful install, follow these tips from our Tech Team:

1. Air Lock Prevention: After installing, slightly loosen the top union nut while filling the tub. Allow water to bleed out for a few seconds to push trapped air out of the heater tube. This prevents the dreaded "DR" (Dry) error code on startup.

2. Sensor Orientation: Ensure the sensor wires are plugged securely into the circuit board. They are interchangeable on the board, but must be seated firmly.

3. Wrench Tightness: Do not over-tighten the split-nuts! Hand-tighten them, then give them a 1/4 turn with a strap wrench. Over-tightening can crack the heater tailpiece.
