Whether you have a traditional Cedar Hot Tub or a modern Acrylic Spa, accurate testing is the only way to protect your investment.

Why it matters for Wood: These strips test Total Hardness. This is critical for wood tubs because if your water is too soft (Low Calcium), it will become aggressive and "pulp" the wood fibers. If it is too hard, it will scale up your heater.

Tests 4 Critical Parameters:

1. Total Bromine (0 - 20 ppm): Ensures you have enough sanitizer to kill bacteria. (Ideal Range: 3-5 ppm).

2. pH (6.2 - 8.4): Checks if water is acidic (corrosive) or basic (scaling). (Ideal Range: 7.2 - 7.6).

3. Total Alkalinity (0 - 240 ppm): The "Anchor" for your pH. Keeps your pH from bouncing wildly. (Ideal Range: 80 - 120 ppm).

4. Total Hardness (0 - 1000 ppm): Measures Calcium/Magnesium levels to prevent corrosion or scale.

Directions for Use

1. Dip: Dip a strip into the water for 1 second and remove it immediately.

2. Wait: Hold the strip level (do not shake off the excess water) for 15 seconds.

3. Compare: Match the colors on the strip to the color chart on the back of the bottle.
