NLCT - CALCIUM INCREASER
Effortlessly increase your spa or hot tub's calcium level when test is reading low.
Prevents multiple issues assosiated with low calcium levels such as heater corrosion.
"Approved for wooden tubs and all Spas and Hot Tubs"
The "Armor" for Your Hot Tub Equipment
We often hear about "Hard Water" being bad (scaling), but did you know that Soft Water is actually more dangerous for your hot tub?
When water has low calcium (Soft Water), it becomes "aggressive" and "hungry." It will try to find minerals wherever it can—eating away at your heater element, pump seals, and metal fittings. This causes rapid corrosion and costly equipment failure.
NLCT Calcium Increaser is the essential balancer that prevents this damage.1 It safely raises your Calcium Hardness levels, satisfying the water's appetite and protecting your investment.
The 2 Major Problems This Solves:
-
Stops Heater Corrosion: By keeping calcium levels between 200-300 ppm, you coat your metal components in a microscopic protective layer. This prevents the water from pitting and rusting your heater element.
-
Kills the Foam: If your spa looks like a bubble bath every time you turn on the jets, your calcium is likely too low. Soft water reduces surface tension, creating massive amounts of foam. Adding Calcium Increaser often fixes foaming issues instantly without needing "Anti-Foam" chemicals.
Why use this formula?
-
Instant Dissolve: Unlike cheap pool calcium which can cloud the water, this formula is highly refined and completely soluble. You can swim immediately after dosing.
-
Universal Compatibility: Works with all sanitizers (Chlorine, Bromine, Salt, Biguanide) and all spa types (Acrylic, Vinyl, and Cedar Tubs).
Directions for Use
1. Test First
Dip a test strip and check your "Hardness" or "Calcium" level.
-
Target Range: 150 - 300 PPM (Parts Per Million).
-
Note: If you are below 150 PPM, you MUST add Calcium.
2. Dosage
-
Consult the Conversion Chart on the back of the bottle for precise dosing based on your spa's liter volume.
-
General Rule: Add small amounts (e.g., 1-2 capfuls), run the jets for 20 minutes, and re-test.
3. Application
-
Turn on the jets.
-
Sprinkle the granules evenly over the surface of the water.
-
Allow water to circulate for 15 minutes.
Calcium Increaser will raise the calcium hardness in spa water. Cal-Rise is completely soluble in water and your spa or hot tub can be used immediately after. Cal- Rise is compatible with all sanitizers including bromine, chlorine and biguanide.
Increase calcium level to prevent spa foaming. Low calcium levels (soft water) can lead to the corrosion of metal parts in your spa. Soft water is also responsible for early failure of heater elements. Test water levels regularly to ensure proper water hardness levels.
