No-Phos - Phosphate Remover 1L

No pre-mixing needed, No-Phos can be added directly to the skimmer and is suitable for use with salt water generators.

No-Phos is a naturally formulated pool water additive that removes phosphates from pool water. The existence of phosphates in the water can encourage algae growth, as phosphates are nutrients for algae. No-Phos is not an algaecide or algaestat and does not kill algae. Normal sanitizer levels will kill algae and No-Phos helps with sanitizer efficiency. Regular use of No-Phos will help prevent the existence of all types of algae.

Directions

Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6, and Alkalinity to 80-120ppm. Maintain sanitizer level between 1-5ppm.
Clean or backwash filter, if necessary.
Test water to determine phosphate level. It is recommended that you have your water tested by your local pool professional.
With filter running, shack bottle well, and add required amount directly to skimmer. Note: if DE filter pressure rises above normal range, bump filter per manufacturer's instructions and restart. Repeat until pressure stays in normal range.
Run filter for a minimum of 8 hours/day for one week or 48 hours continuously without back washing or cleaning.
