No-Phos is a naturally formulated pool water additive that removes phosphates from pool water. The existence of phosphates in the water can encourage algae growth, as phosphates are nutrients for algae. No-Phos is not an algaecide or algaestat and does not kill algae. Normal sanitizer levels will kill algae and No-Phos helps with sanitizer efficiency. Regular use of No-Phos will help prevent the existence of all types of algae.

The "Starvation Diet" for Algae

If you are constantly battling green water or slimy walls—even though your chlorine levels are fine—you likely have a Phosphate problem.
Phosphates are invisible nutrients that enter your water through rain, lawn runoff, leaves, and even bathers. Think of Phosphates as an "All-You-Can-Eat Buffet" for algae. As long as that food is there, algae will find a way to grow, no matter how much you shock the water.
No-Phos is the solution. It is a natural formulation that binds to these phosphates and drops them out of solution, effectively closing the buffet. By starving the algae of its primary food source, you make your sanitizer's job 10x easier and keep your water crystal clear.

It's NOT an Algaecide (It's Better)

• Algaecides are poisons that kill existing algae (reactive).
• No-Phos is a preventer. It changes the water chemistry so algae cannot grow in the first place (proactive).

Expert Tip: When to use No-Phos

You don't need to use this every day. Use it during "High Risk" times:

1. Spring Opening: Winter debris loads the water with phosphates.
2. After Heavy Storms: Rain washes fertilizer and pollen into the pool.
3. If Algae Returns: If you kill algae and it comes back 3 days later, you have high phosphates. Use No-Phos to break the cycle.

Directions

• Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6, and Alkalinity to 80-120ppm. Maintain sanitizer level between 1-5ppm.
• Clean or backwash filter, if necessary.
• Test water to determine phosphate level. It is recommended that you have your water tested by your local pool professional.
• With filter running, shack bottle well, and add required amount directly to skimmer. Note: if DE filter pressure rises above normal range, bump filter per manufacturer's instructions and restart. Repeat until pressure stays in normal range.
• Run filter for a minimum of 8 hours/day for one week or 48 hours continuously without back washing or cleaning.
• Determine required No-Phos dosage using the following chart:
