Stabilizer - Water Conditioner 850g
One treatment lasts the lifetime of the water
The "Invisible Umbrella" That Saves You Money
If you have an outdoor hot tub or pool, the sun is your enemy. Ultraviolet (UV) rays can destroy up to 90% of your chlorine in just two hours on a sunny day. This forces you to constantly add more sanitizer just to keep the water safe.
Stabilizer is the solution. Think of it as Sunscreen for your water.
This granular conditioner dissolves into the water and bonds with your chlorine, creating a protective shield that blocks UV rays. It holds the chlorine in reserve, releasing it only when bacteria are present. The result? You use significantly less chlorine and save money all season long.
The "One-and-Done" Treatment
Unlike other chemicals, Stabilizer does not evaporate.
- Long Lasting: One treatment lasts the entire life of the water. You only need to add more if you drain the tub or backwash significant amounts of water out of the pool.
- Efficiency: It keeps a "bank" of protection (aim for 20-50 ppm) that works 24/7.
Important Usage Guide
(Please read carefully - this chemical behaves differently than others)
1. It is Slow-Dissolving (Don't Panic)
Stabilizer granules are very hard and take a long time to dissolve (up to 48 hours).
- The Skimmer Method (Best): Pour the granules slowly into the skimmer. They will be caught by the filter and dissolve slowly inside the canister.
- CRITICAL WARNING: Do NOT clean or backwash your filter for 48 hours after adding this product. If you clean the filter too soon, you will wash all the undissolved product right down the drain!
2. Dosage Math
- For Pools: The full 850g bottle treats approx. 50,000 Liters (13,000 gallons) to a level of 20 ppm.
- For Hot Tubs: You need very little! For a standard 1,500 Liter hot tub, start with 30g (approx. 1 Capful).
Note: Using "Stabilized Chlorine Tablets" also adds stabilizer. Test your water first. If your CYA level is already above 30 ppm, do not add this product.
At the start of the season, or when pool is freshly filled, condition your pool with the use of stabilizer. This conditioner acts like an invisible umbrella in the water, setting up a screen to protect the chlorine in the pool against the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Water which has not been conditioned rapidly loses its chlorine through decomposition.
Directions:
One capful holds approximately 30 g of stabilizer. 850 g of stabilizer will effectively treat 50,000 liters and leave a residual of 20 ppm (parts per million). Simply add the required amount through the pool skimmer. Stabilizer is completely soluble. However, it takes up to 48 hours to dissolve. Do not backwash the filter for 48 hours after adding stabilizer. If the pool is not equipped with a skimmer, simply add the required amount to the water in a clean plastic pail, stir thoroughly, and pour the mixture into the deep end of your pool. Always add chemicals to the water, never water to chemicals. Adjust pH level to 7.2 - 7.8. If it falls below 7.2 add pH UP and if it is above 7.8 add pH DOWN. Do this according to directions on the labels.

After Conditioning: Simply add stabilized chlorine products as directed. Test pool frequently using recommended test kits and methods.
