The "Nuclear Option" for Cloudy Pools

Sometimes, a pool is too dirty for a standard clarifier. If your water looks like a swamp, or you can't see the bottom of the deep end, you need something stronger than a polisher. You need C-Clear.
C-Clear is a powerful liquid flocculant. Unlike clarifiers (which clump dirt so the filter can catch it), C-Clear creates heavy, massive clumps that are too heavy to float. It forces all the algae, dead skin, and debris to fall to the pool floor, leaving the water above crystal clear.
Once the dust settles, you simply vacuum the sludge out of the pool to waste. It is the fastest way to turn a "Swamp" into a "Swimming Pool."

⚠️ COMPATIBILITY WARNING (Must Read)

• DO NOT USE with Cartridge Filters: This product acts like glue. If you suck it into a paper cartridge filter, it will clog the pores permanently, and you will have to buy a new filter.
• Best for Sand Filters: Use only if you have a Sand Filter with a "Recirculate" and "Waste" setting, OR if you can manually vacuum the floor directly out of the pool (bypassing the filter).

Why C-Clear is Better:

• No pH Adjustment: Most flocs require you to mess with your pH before they work. C-Clear works at any normal pH level.
• Super Concentrated: A little goes a long way.
• Chlorine Saver: By physically removing the organic debris (vacuuming it out), your chlorine doesn't have to waste energy eating it.

Step-by-Step Instructions (The "Drop & Vac" Method)

Follow these steps exactly for perfect results.

Phase 1: The Mix

• Bypass Filter: Set your pump to "Recirculate" (bypass the sand filter) You want the water moving, but not going through the sand.
• Add Product: Pour the required amount (see below) around the pool edges.
• Circulate: Let the water run on Recirculate for 12 hours to mix thoroughly.

Phase 2: The Settle

• Shut Off: Turn the pump OFF. Completely.
• Wait: Leave the pool stagnant for 24 hours (or at least overnight). The water must be perfectly still. You will see a grey/white cloud settle on the floor.

Phase 3: The Removal

• Vacuum to Waste: Set your filter to "Waste" (or "Drain").
• Vacuum: Move slowly. Vacuum the thick sludge layer directly out of the pool. Do not let it pass through the filter!
• Refill: Top up your water level with a hose.

Dosage Guide

• Maintenance: 500 ml per 100,000 Liters.
• Cloudy Water: 1 Liter per 100,000 Liters.
• Spring Start-Up / Swamp: 2 Liters per 100,000 Liters.

C-Clear suspends particles that cause dull, lifeless water by flocculating minute particles that pool filters cannot remove. pH of the pool water does not need to be adjusted to have effective results with C-Clear and C-Clear will reduce the chlorine demand.

C-Clear can be added through the skimmer or dispersed manually around the pool. To allow for total circulation, it is recommended to keep the filter running on recirculate for 12 hours. To allow the suspended solids to settle, it is recommended to shut the filter off for a minimum of 6 hours and after the collected matter has settled, vacuum to waste.

Instructions & Specifications 

• Add 500ml of C-Clear per 100,000 litres of of water. If floc forms, vacuum to waste.
• When water has lost its sparkle due to suspended solids, add 1 litre of C-Clear per 100,000 litres of water. Pre-Mix in a bucket.
• For Spring start-up or heavily contaminated water, use 2 litres of C-Clear per 100,000 litres of water.

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE:

This product is dangerous for Hot Tub owners who don't know what they are doing. Flocculant acts like glue. If a customer runs this through a paper cartridge filter, it will cement the pleats shut and ruin the filter instantly.
