Have you ever filled your hot tub, added chlorine, and watched the water instantly turn green, brown, or purple? That isn't algae—that is oxidized metal (Iron, Copper, or Manganese) reacting with the sanitizer.

Meta-Sol is a professional-grade sequestering agent designed to prevent this reaction before it happens.

It works by forming a protective "shell" around dissolved metal particles and calcium molecules. This keeps them suspended in the water, preventing them from staining your liner, discoloring the water, or forming a rock-hard crust (scale) on your heater element.

Who needs this product?

1. Well Water Users: If you fill your tub from a well, you almost certainly have high metal content. Meta-Sol is mandatory to keep your water clear.

2. Hard Water Areas: If you have high Calcium Hardness, this prevents that calcium from dropping out of solution and creating sandpaper-like scale on your tub walls.

3. Heater Protection: Even a thin layer of scale on a heater element acts like insulation, causing the heater to overheat and burn out. Regular use of Meta-Sol keeps your element clean and efficient.

Directions for Use

1. Initial Fill (The Most Important Step):

• Add Meta-Sol while you are filling the tub, before you add Chlorine or Bromine.This locks up the metals before the sanitizer can attack them.

• Pool Dose: Add 1 Liter per 100,000 Liters.

• Hot Tub Dose (Est.): Add 15 mL - 30 mL (approx. 1-2 tablespoons) for a standard 1,500L spa.

2. Weekly Maintenance:

• To prevent scale buildup over time, add a small maintenance dose weekly.

• Pool Rate: 100 mL per 50,000 Liters.

• Hot Tub Rate: 5 mL - 10 mL (approx. 1 teaspoon) weekly.

Meta-Sol forms inert complexes with dissolved metals such as copper, iron, nickel, and silicon, preventing the metals from precipitating from the water.

If the source of the pool water is high in dissolved metal content, Meta-Sol should be added to the pool water while it is being filled and before chlorination. Add 1 litre of Meta-Sol per 100,000 litres of water, directly to the pool.

Meta-Sol used at a rate of 100ml per 50,000 litres of water per week will prevent the precipitation of metals and the staining of the pool walls.
